Playing with Pastels

"Come Fly With Me!" pastel 6x6" I decided to revisit birds again today. This was a challenge! I have to say I learned a lot about color in shadow and reflected light. I am having fun choosing titles. Have you noticed a theme? Judy

"Both Sides Now" pastel, 5x7" Day 19 of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days! It is really important for me to find times in the day to paint. I am amazed at how good it is for me to be thinking of painting all the time. It is a way of looking at my daily life with thoughts of positive productivity that I hadn't been doing before this challenge.  I am thinking... ok, what shall I paint next? Judy

"Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" pastel 18x24" It is day 18 of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge.  I have kept up pretty well despite having to get a solo show ready. I am finding it a really great experience! Have you ever considered trying this? Judy
